Rural Development Minister Michael Lobo has informed that Saras trade fair will be held from 23rd January to 3rd February at Margao. Speaking to media, he has informed that District Rural Agency has decided to put up around 200 stalls and given women a platform. Stating that Centre has sanctioned Rs 35 lakhs to hold Saras, Lobo has revealed that Goa Government had planned to hold Saras in North Goa as well.Talking about Goa Bazar, He has informed that Goa Bazar at Merces has been stuck as one secretary has raised issues of construction of building in low lying area.
