SWFL Eagles_ Observing H & M’s Behaviors After The Loss Of E14...Always Teaching Us 01-21-20

Harriet & M15 were busy taking sticks to a pasture snag and sticks & grasses to the nest this morning. Harriet brought a fish to the nest to eat. Questions... questions... Why are Harriet & M15 taking sticks to a pasture snag and why are they bringing so many sticks and grasses to their nest now? Bald eagles are compulsive nest builders and it is not unusual for mated pairs to build more than one nest. H & M do bring sticks and grasses when eaglets are in the nest, but some are wondering if it is possible for H & M to have a 2nd clutch this season. It's not likely but never say never.
