Our 2004 Chevrolet 3500 is the only truck we have. We use it for hauling equipment from time to time, moving hay, and various other activities. Our tractor with loader weighed in at just under 17,000 lbs. When we bought it we hauled it from Northern Illinois 8 hours back to our farm. The gross weight with truck, trailer, and tractor was well over what the truck was rated for from the factory however it did it just fine. Well over the years it has destroyed the carrier bearing on the driveshaft which recently failed. It caused a bad vibration which can lead to other failures in the driveline if not repaired. So Gage and I took care of it immediately.
