Thousands gather in Tehran for Soleimani's funeral

In Tehran, people have flooded the streets for the funeral of general Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a US airstrike. State television said "millions" came to pay their respects, with some people stuck in underground subway stations. Supreme leader Ali Khamenei led the proceedings and was seen weeping at one point. The airstrike has raised tensions in the region, and Iran has said it will take a step back from a 2015 nuclear deal.
