WION Dispatch: India restricts imports of refined palm oil after Malaysia's criticism over CAA

The Indian government has imposed restrictions on the imports of refined palm oil and palmolein. This was done in retaliation against top supplier Malaysia after its criticism of India's actions in Kashmir and new citizenship law. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Ravish Kumar said that only checks and balances would be put in place and imports won't be stopped altogether.
