Hands-on review with Lenovo's Yoga Slim 7 laptops, fresh 14 and 15-inch notebooks for 2020 with AMD or Intel smarts, dedicated graphics, and up to 4K visuals. Could these be the best new laptops of 2020 so far? While most of the attention was on the ThinkPad X1 Fold and Yoga 5G, these thin and portable PCs were also launched by Lenovo at CES 2020 and they're well worth a look. Despite the skinny build, the Slim 7 series laptops offer strong performance. Even the base AMD Ryzen 4000 platform can smash through everyday tasks, while the 10th Gen Intel Core version comes with a choice of GeForce graphics.
Battery life is estimated at 14 hours for the Full HD models, while Lenovo reckons you'll get 11 hours from the special edition 14-inch model with fabric finish. This version also offers Ultra HD visuals, so it's ideal for kicking back with Netflix or editing your pics in incredibly fine detail.
