Struggling To Climb Up The Ghat - 45 Loaded Container Freight Train

A heavy goods train with 45 containers slowly passes Khandala station as it struggles to get to the top of the Bhor Ghat section between Karjat and Lonavala. The leading locomotive was a Bhilai WAG-9 (31506) and the train was banked by Kalyan WCAM-3 twins (21935 and 21951).

The same day at Khandala I saw many other trains in the morning.
