Former Education MEC Mthandeni Dlungwane is out. The new Education MEC is the ANC Youth League's provincial chairperson KwaZi Mshengu.
Former Education MEC Peggy Nkonyeni has been appointed to as Public Works and Human Settlements MEC.
Former Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube takes over the Department of Economic Development and Tourism.
