In this video, Dr. Berg talks about how to burn more calories without exercise or eating less.

Is this even possible? Yes! But you have to have the correct information. Unfortunately, a lot of people are listening to the wrong information when it comes to how to get rid of fat. Many think it’s just about calories. They want to know how to burn more calories or the best ways to lower your calories. They think they need to exercise more and eat fewer calories. There is much more to it than that.

You don’t have to count your calories. There are better ways to lose weight without exercise—like the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting.

Here is what a lot of people are told they need to do to lose weight fast: (spoiler alert—they don’t all work)

• Do not skip breakfast
• Eat regular meals
• Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
• Walk more and get more steps
• Drink more water
• Consume higher fiber foods
• Use a smaller plate
• Don’t ban certain foods
• **Eat everything in moderation

I’m going to go over the big problem with all of this, and why it might not be working for you.

Exercise is not even as significant as you might think. Exercise is only responsible for 15% of weight loss—85% is from your diet.

What you really need to know is how to burn more fat calories. You don’t want to just burn your sugar reserves, get really hungry for carbs, and not burn fat. But this is what moderation will do.

Eating everything in moderation will only cause you to burn off sugar and not fat. If you want to start burning fat, you have to stop treating all calories the same. You can actually have more of certain types of calories and cut down on others.

So, how do you lose weight without reducing calories? If you reduce the frequency of your meals, but still consume the same amount of calories that you have been each day—you will start to lose weight.

You can keep your daily calories, but combine them in one or two meals without snacks. Less eating means less insulin, which means more weight loss. You’ll even notice your hunger will go way down. The biggest thing is to not eat if you’re not hungry. Simple, right?

This is how you burn more fat calories without eating less and without exercising.

1. Reduce carbs (not veggies) – to maximize the fat burning bring the carbs as close to zero as possible.
2. Moderate protein
3. Higher fat
