Sheriff called on family for trying to enroll autistic son into Gadsden county schools

Sheriff called on family for trying to enroll autistic son into Gadsden county schools This school would not honor the law and allow us to have home instruction for my severely autistic, ultra violent and verbally abusive son. After the father refused to sign the IEP for 'in school' instruction, which the psychologist was FORCING on the father.....he left the meeting and they called the sheriff on him without proper reason...wasting precious police resources and terrorizing the family. The sheriff was very cool and we liked him. You will see in the video just why this is. The school has declared WAR on this family by not complying with the law and filing false reports. You know....lieing, half truths and just generally attempting to bully the family into submission. WE dealt with and ended up fleeing OHIO for exactly this kind of thing just to arrive in florida and have the sheriff called on us for trying to comply with the law...

Attention parents of special needs kids currently attending ANY school in Gadsden county florida. There are teachers at this school who have stated that your 8 year old challenged child is just as responsible as a 'normal' child and will be dealt with in the same fashion. A big dude teacher wearing dog tags and a copper colored silicon ring said and i quote "if your son spits on me, thats assault and he will be treated just like any other normal kid at the school." He also said that "if i get spit on, thats assault, he will be sent to the office, you will be called to come and get him and he will have a mark on his record." This is how this one teacher feels about your special needs child. You as a parent of a child at this school should ask yourself... do i really want my child going to this school knowing that there are teachers there who are intolerant and ready to call the police on you if you will not comply with them but are complying with the law?
