This is the story of Luna. A brave and resilient collared elephant whose family was decimated by poachers. As one of the last few remaining members of the once prosperous 30+ strong Planets herd, tracking Luna has deepened our understanding of the impacts of poaching on elephant society and the strategies that orphaned elephants use to survive in the wild. This Giving Tuesday, we are hoping to raise enough money in 24 hours to better protect 24 of our ele-friends like Luna. Giving Tuesday lasts for 24 hours, protecting elephants lasts a lifetime.
