Welcome to another week of What's for Dinner!
These are some of the meals we ate over the last couple weeks, during the busiest time of the year!
You need those quick and easy meals when you are so incredibly busy with the hustle and bustle of preparing for Christmas, attending events, etc.
Hope these will give you some ideas.

In this video, you'll see:

-fried rice & mandarin orange chicken
-white queso with sausage nachos
-smoked sausage with cabbage, pinto beans & cornbread
-pan-fried cheeseburgers with French fries
-meatloaf & the fixings

Here is my mom's recipe for turkey pot pie!!

Turkey Pot Pie

approx 1 lb of leftover turkey
1 can cream of celery
1 can cream of chicken
1 can of chicken broth
2 cans of mixed vegetables, drained
Mix well & pour into a 9x13 baking dish.

Topping:
1 1/2 c self-rising flour
1/2 stick melted butter
1 cup milk
Mix well & pour over the turkey and vegetable mixture.
Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown & cooked through.

This is an easy 'method' type recipe that can be easily modified to what ingredients you have on hand or what you prefer.
it is hearty & delicious!

Thanks for watching!

year!
