Art song: A Conceit, poetry of Maya Angelou

I am playing this art song that I composed just a couple of days after Maya Angelou died. It is scored for mezzo soprano voice and piano. Where practical, I played the vocal part, so you can get a better idea of the actual composition. Comments are welcome! I hope you like it.
