Tesla Model 3 Display Speed and GPS Speed is WAY out of Sync

Ever feel as though your Tesla Model 3 is going slower than the speed indicated on the console display? Well that is because your Model 3 is going slower. Quite a bit slower. Go to timestamp 3:53 to skip right to the test.

There is a discrepancy between the display speed and the GPS speed of you Model 3. GPS speed discrepancies are nothing new. However, Tesla has the technology to give drivers the same accuracy in speed as a GPS. Could it be that that this difference is on purpose. 4 km/h (2.5 mph) will make difference in efficiency at highway speeds. Let me know what you think in the comments.
