George Calombaris reveals he is often MOBBED overseas MasterChef Australia is aired in 180 countries, making the judges a hot commodity.And George Calombaris revealed to the Gold Coast Bulletin on Friday how he, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston are often MOBBED overseas.The 40-year-old said it's not unusual to have fans lined up at the airport in South Africa, or to have people in India 'paying off' others to find out their hotel.  'It's nuts!' George Calombaris (pictured), 40, revealed he and the other MasterChef judges are a big deal overseas, and often get MOBBED in South Africa and India'Gary, Matt and I go to South Africa in September and the minute you land it starts,' George said. 'I'm talking people waiting at the airport, lining up, it's nuts.'  The Melbourne-born chef of Greek heritage, went on to reveal the lengths some fans go to in India.'People are paying off people to find out what hotel we are staying (in),' he said.
