News24 - Inter Milan ready to sell in order to fund bid for Romelu Lukaku

Inter Milan are set to make a move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, but the Serie A side will have to offload a couple of players in order to fund a move for the Belgian.United have reportedly slapped a £80million pricetag on the 26-year-old as he continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford.According to The Sun, Inter will look to sell both Joao Mario and Dalbert for a combined total of £40m which will then go towards a bid for Lukaku. Mario is reportedly on the brink of a £22m move to Monaco while Dalbert could join the Portuguese midfielder in the south of France.Lyon are also interested in the Brazilian left-back.It appears that a summer move for Lukaku is on the cards after his agent admitted that 'nothing is impossible' with regards to a switch earlier this week.United have already made it clear to the Italian club that they will not entertain offers below their valuation of Lukaku. Inter's offer of a two-year loan worth £9m and an obligation to buy for a further £54m fell short of what United were asking.United signed Lukaku for an initial £75m but the deal ended up being closer to £90m after the Belgium international quickly triggered a number of clauses.
