[Recorded 18/2/19 and 13/8/19, Comparison Edited 3/1/20] (Feat. Safety Breaks Lifts - If you've watched either of our channels for a while you'll know that these lifts are in a bit of a state. However what you might not have picked up on is that these lifts are actually faster going up than they are going down. In this video I make use of VideoPad's Stopwatch feature to compare the two lifts and see if one is faster than the other, and if so, by how much. This also gives you a chance to see the difference between the downward journey and the upward journey. Let me know what you think of the results in the comments, I was actually surprised how close the two lifts were during the individual journeys! The first comparison is the downward journey, followed by the upward journey, then the lifts are timed for the full round trip, including the doors opening and closing at 2. The timer starts as both lifts' interlocks start latching and is stopped for each lift when the door unlatches at the end of each particular comparison journey. The results are tabulated right before the outro so no need to scroll back and forward to read all the results again after watching. ;)
